2017 Fantasy Baseball Rankings – Batters – Week 3 Edition
Week 3 fantasy baseball rankings for hitters are now listed below and Bryce Harper leads the field with an over-the-top type of fantasy baseball performance. His near .400 batting average along with 20/20 numbers for runs and rbi’s combined with 7 home runs after only 3 weeks into the young 2017 baseball season is quickly proving that his comeback may very well be for real.
Freddie Freeman however, comes in at a very close second with a .400 batting average and 7 home runs as well. But, before you jump on the bandwagon to go out and offer the world for either of these players along with practically everyone in the top 10 of the list below, you should take the time to look at some of the accompanying statistics like the BABIP, wOBA and HR/FB. Once you do this, you’ll quickly see that most of these players will soon come back to earth.
With that said, take a good look at Nolan Arenado, Ryan Braun and Jose Ramirez. Here you will find 3 players who’s stats are simple solid with nothing that indicates performances that are anything but real when compared to their historical stat line. So even though this week’s fantasy baseball rankings show them sitting at 9, 11 and 18 respectively, my personal rankings have them sitting in the top 5.
